Cast Information

Eleanor Tiernan (UK)

A queen of the droll and the deadpan, Irish comedian Eleanor Tiernan leaves the comedy clichés at the door. With her unique and off-beat style she takes an ironic look at the world, peppered with personal anecdotes. She’s supported Stewart Lee, Tommy Tiernan, Judah Friedlander and Tig Notaro on tour. Unconventional, original and utterly engaging!

‘A distinctive inspired comic mind’ - Scotsman

Josh Earl

Josh Earl is an award winning comedian, cake enthusiast and host of TV and radio (Spicks and Specks and 3RRRFM’s Breakfasters). With a comedy CV that most comedians would dream of, Josh has shared stage and screen with the likes of Tim Minchin, Ade Edmondson and Arj Barker.

His most popular offerings have been Josh Earl is a Librarian, and Josh Earl vs. The Australian Women’s Weekly Cake Book, both have toured every state in Australia and earned him the award of the Best Comedy at The Perth Fringe.

Not only was Josh host of Spicks and Specks he also wrote for it and has appeared all over the place on Triple J, Triple R, ABC Local Radio 774, Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation (Channel 10), Mad As Hell (ABC TV), Adam Hills Tonight (ABC TV), and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Opening Night Allstars Gala.

‘Five Stars – Do not miss. Hilaroius’ – The Clothesline (Adelaide 2015)

‘5 stars – Brilliant’ – The Music

‘4 and ½ stars- Hilarious’ – Beat Magazine (Melbourne 2015)

Azeem Banatwalla (India)

Azeem Banatwalla is one of India's top comedians, according to several publications of dubious authenticity. A former travel writer for National Geographic, he has garnered a reputation over the last 6 years for his intelligent, observational, and occasionally dark humour, and is widely renowned as one of the sharpest comedy writers in India. In 2017 Azeem became one of the first few comics in India to have his stand-up special ("Cometh the Hour") hosted on Amazon Prime Video. As a member of the popular comedy collective "East India Comedy", Azeem is a (reluctant) youth icon in India. His goal for 2018 is to take his comedy to new shores where teenagers don't want to take selfies with him. He hates selfies.
