About Marcia Hines
Marcia Hines arrived in Australia in 1970 to star, at 16, in the musical Hair.
Since then she has become a beloved and integral part of the Australian music and entertainment industry, spanning 22 albums, countless chart topping singles, multi-platinum albums and roles on the musical stage and on television.
Marcia was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007 and received the Order Australia in 2009. This ‘Queen of Pop’ shows no sign of slowing down, currently on a break from starring in the global smash hit burlesque, circus, discotheque musical ‘VELVET’.
