More Information
When The Beatles moved to psychedelic rock and Dylan went electric, Van Morrison hired New York’s finest jazz musicians and recorded two of the classic albums of that golden era – the poetic Astral Weeks and the soulful Moondance.
Both albums had an enormous impact on aspiring musicians and singers around the world. Vince Jones was one of them.
Vince Jones has invited a selection of the country’s finest jazz and rock musicians to form The Astral Orchestra, lead by Music Director Matt McMahon. The orchestra accompanies Jones as he pays homage to two of Morrison’s most acclaimed albums, including masterful interpretations of the hit songs Gloria, Brown-Eyed Girl and Have I Told You Lately.
This is night you simply shouldn’t miss!
