Code One was formerly one of the Victoria Police Bands and it's members are still in high demand across a large demographic. 

Music Director and Bassist Daryl McKenzie has been MD of the Police Showband, the Daryl McKenzie Jazz Orchestra and the Nine Network's Hey Hey It's Saturday. He has worked for major International artists and movie productions.

Vocalist Lorena Novoa was a cast member of Young Talent Time and has had an extensive career as an entertainer and studio session vocalist.

Daina Jowsey has sung with the Australian Pops Orchestra and performed on Good Morning Australia,. She has also performed at major Jazz Festivals and has released her own acclaimed CDs.

Guitarist and Vocalist Rick Varlet has had an extensive career as a session musician and has performed in the Midday Show and at major events.

Drummer Richard Bennett, the resident Kiwi of the band, has also been a busy musican in the Melbourne music scene and alongside the others, was a long-time member of the Victoria Police Bands.


Code One's performances cater to wide range of tastes from Jazz and Awing music to Classic Rock, Disco, Contemporary Pop and anything in-between that get's an audience dancing and singing along!
