Ticket types

Concession tickets

Concession pricing is available to holders of valid Concession, Pension, Student, or Senior Cards. Availability and pricing of concession tickets are determined by the event promoter or hirer and will be displayed at the time of purchase if applicable.

Children’s tickets

Children aged 2 to 15 years are eligible for children’s tickets, unless otherwise specified by the event organiser. Children under 2 years of age may attend free of charge when seated on the lap of a parent or guardian.

Ticket purchasing conditions

The standard ticket purchasing conditions are printed on the back of Karralyka’s tickets and comply with Live Performance Australia (LPA) Code of Practice.

Service fees

A non-refundable booking fee of $4.80 applies to all ticket purchases. This fee is applied per transaction, not per individual ticket.

A postage fee of $4.50 applies for tickets delivered by post.

Refunds and exchanges

All ticket purchases are final. Refunds or exchanges are not available for change of mind.

Karralyka gift vouchers

Karralyka Gift Vouchers are available for purchase and can be redeemed for any theatre production sold through Karralyka. They are valid for three years from the date of purchase.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a companion card?

Karralyka accepts companion and concession cards for those who are eligible to receive these services. We kindly ask that you present these cards upon arrival to purchase tickets and when attending an event at Karralyka for verification.

Can I only buy tickets through Karralyka?

Tickets are sold on behalf of the Promoter by Karralyka. We strongly advise that you do not purchase tickets from any source other than the Karralyka website.

Tickets purchased from any other source may be unauthorised copies and may be refused admittance to the performance or event.

Can I reserve tickets?

We do not reserve tickets for individuals/groups of less than 10.

Group bookings (10 or more tickets) may be reserved without payment. Reserved tickets will be held for 48 hours. If payment is not received in this time, tickets will be released for sale.

Morning Music production tickets may be held for social groups (e.g. Probus Clubs), with payment required 3 weeks prior to the production. If payment is not received by this date tickets will be released for sale.

What happens if my performance or event is postponed or cancelled?

Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or cancelled once issued except in accordance with the applicable laws of Australia.

If an event is postponed, purchased tickets will be valid for the new date unless otherwise notified. Purchasers have the option to seek a refund for the value of the purchased ticket(s) for a postponed event by contacting Karralyka Centre prior to the replacement date for the postponed show.

In the event that a Promoter authorises ticket refunds for a postponed event, they will be issued only to the original credit card used for the purchase.

If an event is cancelled, the purchase will be refunded directly to the credit card used for the original purchase.

What happens if there is a change in programming or artist line-up?

The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, replace, add or substitute artists or performers without notice. Karralyka will endeavour to notify patrons as soon as we can in regards to any changes to the advertised event or performance.

What do I do if I have misplaced my tickets for an upcoming performance or event?

If you have lost your original tickets or left them at home after arriving at Karralyka, our friendly box office staff will be able to assist you with reprinting your tickets on the day prior to the show. Contact us

We require the ticket information from the original booking and a valid form of ID to verify your ticket purchase.

What is Karralyka's privacy policy?

Karralyka only collects the personal information necessary for performing ticketing and marketing functions.

We do not sell or distribute lists of its patrons or their contact details to any other organisations or persons: unless specifically advised, with prior consent to do so by the patron and Karralyka is satisfied that the third party’s Privacy Policy is in accordance with legislative requirements.
