Is Karralyka wheelchair accessible

Karralyka is fully accessible for patrons in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.

You can enter from the upper entrance off Wilson Street.

Lift access is available from the Mines Road entry. 

If you need a wheelchair space provided in the theatre, please let us know when booking tickets.

Can I use a companion card?

Karralyka accepts companion and concession cards for those who are eligible to receive these services. We kindly ask that you present these cards upon arrival to purchase tickets and when attending an event at Karralyka for verification.

Ticket sales, reservations and refunds

Sales conditions

The standard ticket purchasing conditions are printed on the back of Karralyka’s tickets and comply with Live Performance Australia (LPA) Code of Practice. 

Service Fees

A booking fee of $4.50 is payable for tickets purchased online or tickets transacted by phone as a sale or reservation. This fee is only applied per transaction and not per individual ticket. A postage fee of $4.50 applies for tickets delivered by post.

Unauthorised ticket purchases

Tickets are sold on behalf of the Promoter by Karralyka. We strongly advise that you do not purchase tickets from any source other than the Karralyka website.

Tickets purchased from any other source may be unauthorised copies and may be refused admittance to the performance or event.

Ticket Reservations

We do not reserve tickets for individuals/groups of less than 10. 

Group bookings (10 or more tickets) may be reserved without payment. Reserved tickets will be held for 48 hours. If payment is not received in this time, tickets will be released for sale. 

Morning Music Group Bookings

For Morning Music productions, tickets may be held for social groups i.e. Probus Clubs and payment is required 3 weeks prior to the production. If payment is not received by this date tickets will be released for sale.

What do I do if I have misplaced my tickets for an upcoming performance or event?

If you have lost your original tickets or left them at home after arriving at Karralyka, our friendly box office staff will be able to assist you with reprinting your tickets on the day prior to the show.

We require the ticket information from the original booking and a valid form of ID to verify your ticket purchase.

Refund policy

All sales are final and there are no refunds or exchanges offered on ticket purchases due to change of mind. 

What happens if i arrive after the performance or event has started?

If you arrive after the performance has commenced you may be asked to wait for a suitable time to enter the theatre to ensure disruption to the performance is limited. 

Occasionally a performance will have a total lockout where latecomers will not be admitted once the performance has commenced. Unfortunately, tickets cannot be refunded under these circumstances.

Can I take photos or film at Karralyka?

Every performance and event at Karralyka have their own restrictions around taking photos in the theatre and events space - we kindly ask that you abide by the signs within the venue and if you are unsure, please ask our friendly event staff prior to taking photos or filming any material at Karralyka. 

What happens if my performance or event is postponed, cancelled or requires a refund to be processed?

Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or cancelled once issued except in accordance with the applicable laws of Australia.

In the event of a cancellation at Karralyka, the purchase will be refunded directly to the credit card used for the original purchase.

In the event of a postponement, purchased tickets will be valid for the new date unless otherwise notified. Purchasers have the option to seek a refund for the value of the purchased ticket(s) for a postponed event by contacting Karralyka Centre prior to the replacement date for the postponed show.

In the event that a Promoter authorises ticket refunds for a postponed event, they will be issued only to the original credit card used for the purchase.

Changes in programming or artist line-up

The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, replace, add or substitute artists or performers without notice. Karralyka will endeavour to notify patrons as soon as we can in regards to any changes to the advertised event or performance.

Specific performance information

Duration, content warnings and special effects information will be promoted on our website as the information comes to hand.  Please check the website for regular updates or call the Box Office if you have a specific enquiry.

Privacy policy and conduct

What is Karralyka's privacy policy? 

Karralyka only collects the personal information necessary for performing ticketing and marketing functions.

We do not sell or distribute lists of its patrons or their contact details to any other organisations or persons: unless specifically advised, with prior consent to do so by the patron and Karralyka is satisfied that the third party’s Privacy Policy is in accordance with legislative requirements.

Karralyka strive to ensure all personal information listed on our database is accurate, complete, and valid.

Refusal of admission or ejection from the venue due to inappropriate behaviour

Karralyka reserve the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose behaviour does not comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the venue.
